In loving memory of Duff L. Gula, D.O., 8/10/41 - 3/24/03
Honoring the Memory
Dr. Duff Gula passed away on March 24, 2003. He joined Total Orthopaedic Care in 1994, and was on staff at several area hospitals. He held leadership positions in numerous medical societies and selflessly volunteered his medical expertise to our community.
He loved to golf and fish.
In March 2003, he was inducted into the DePauw University Athletic Hall of Fame for outstanding achievement as a student athlete, where he was a four-year letterman in both football and baseball and was chosen as MVP for both sports and the entire athletic department his senior year. He was drafted by the Chicago Bears and Pittsburgh Pirates, but chose to practice medicine instead. He also served as Eminent Archon (President) of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity.
The Board of Directors and staff of Total Orthopaedic Care honor the memory of Dr. Gula to celebrate the life he led and to acknowledge the way in which he touched our lives and the lives of his patients, and for his outstanding contributions to the community. Even though Dr. Gula is no longer with us, his precious memories will live in our hearts forever.
