Michael Kindya, M.D., F.A.A.O.S.Orthopaedic Surgeon
Board-certified orthopedic surgeon Dr. Michael Kindya has been in practice since 2017. After graduating from the prestigious 7-year combined undergraduate–medical program at Boston University and earning cum laude honors from both, he completed his orthopedic residency at SUNY Stony Brook on Long Island. Following that, he completed sub-specialty training in sports medicine at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Dr. Kindya has vast experience treating various orthopedic conditions in all age groups. His particular interest is in sports medicine, and he has treated athletes of all levels - from recreational to professional.
He believes that educating the patient is essential to his job. "I best treat their condition by listening to my patients, answering their questions, and teaching them about their conditions. Then, we work together to determine the best diagnostic and treatment decisions - utilizing the most up-to-date treatments available."
Dr. Kindya has presented research at several orthopedic conferences and has authored numerous peer-reviewed studies. Additionally, he currently reviews medical research for publication in the top sports medicine journal.
